The STL file is a 3D model file type which can be generated from 3D model .prt, .3df or other type of 3d model file using software like, fusion360, Sketchup, CreO, Solidworks etc.

You can either use approximate numbers and select 1:1 scale if you like it to be printed the same size you see on the model. OR you can measure common items like Soda Can or Soda Bottle in millimeters and use those as reference for how large you may want your print to be.

Our most common material is PLA for plastic parts and TPU for flexible parts. We see that FDM printers provide good quality using these materials. We prefer to work with PLA as much as possible because it is biodegradable. Please check the internet for properties of ABS and Resin as other choices we have available.
The choices are based on what we have available readily in our inventory to ensure fast turnover. We can print any color of your choice just let us know, it may affect cost and delivery time. Most of our orders are white PLA material and we also prefer to work with white PLA material because it allows customer to paint the part using commonly available Acrylic paint.
Please upload each file individually that makes the full assembly if they were to be printed separately. Also ensure to check 1:1 scale and enter approximate dimensions. This approach will allow you to price each piece but it can be expensive if there are many pieces and assembly is complicated. The best approach is to upload the zip folder with all files using our “Custom Quote” and we can get back to you with a quote.
